Encircling the Club's 300 acre Buckinghamshire
parkland estate, Stoke Park’s famous 27 hole
Championship golf course, is undisputedly one of
the finest parkland courses in the country. Created
in 1908 by eminent golf architect Harry Colt, the
Stoke Park course has been the inspiration for many
of the world’s most famous holes, including our 7th
tee which was the inspiration for Augusta’s
infamous 16th.
The course itself has seen many impressive rounds

Leadbetter Golf Academies. He
qualified as a Professional via the Golf Management
degree at the University of Birmingham and keeps up to
date with technology as a TrackMan Level 2 Certified
coach. James is an integral coach to the Scholarship
Programme and is now seeing many of his students

Rules and Etiquette
• All course signage must be installed by Stoke Park staff
and must therefore be delivered 48 hours prior to the
event and collected on the evening of the event. The
organiser is responsible for the safe return and
condition of all equipment used by participants during
their day.
• All players must hold recognised handicaps or be
competent golfers. Stoke Park reserves the right to
remove anyone from the course who does not meet
the required standard of play, and fails to keep within
the Club's pace of play requirements.
• Tee-off times must be adhered to at all times. Failure to
do so may result in participants not being able to get
onto the golf course.
• Please observe and comply with the Club Rules and
etiquette of golf.
• Only three and four balls are permitted on the course.
• Texas Scrambles are not permitted on the course.
• Smart/Casual attire may be worn in the Mansion
during the day. In the summer, knee-length shorts are
permitted, and must be accompanied by either kneelength socks or short white socks.
• Golf shoes of any description may only be worn on the
lower ground floor of the Mansion.
• Changing of any description is not permitted in the car
park. All competitors must change in the changing
rooms provided.
• Stoke Park cannot, under any circumstances, be held
