and the services we offer to children and families aim to meet
these needs.
Families and parents can access a range of facilities to support
health, opportunities for training, employment and/or further
education. We offer a weekly ‘stay and play’, and toy library,
where you can borrow a variety of educational toys for your
under 5’s, as well as classes for parents such as English & Maths
level 1 and 2, baby massage. You can come to the centre for
fortnightly careers advice or monthly for legal advice.
Our Children’s Centre Practitioner is on hand regularly for advice,
support and guidance on a variety of topics and can refer you to
relevant agencies for further help and support should you require
it.
We are constantly looking for ways to improve our services and
your input would be greatly appreciated.

many other concerns you may have.
Baby massage is when a parent
or primary carer lovingly strokes
or holds their baby. Using a low
fragrance vegetable oil, soothing
holds and rhythmic strokes are
given on each area of baby’s

verbally and non-verbally with
babies so that they feel loved,

Eat Better, Start
Better
When children eat better,
they do better. So we’re all
about inspiring children and
families to learn to cook and
enjoy good food, giving them
the confidence and skills they
need to get hands-on in the
kitchen and make healthier
food choices throughout their
lives. Learn how to cook
healthy, nutritional and
affordable meals, that you
and your family will love.
Help your fussy eaters to
explore food and try new
flavours.
