What can Team Colyton do to get other people on the team?
Ideas for spreading the word.
What we can do right now:
1. Word of mouth: Each member of the team tells 3 people about the team, invites them to join
2. Share posts on Facebook: everyone to share posts on Facebook + invite friends to meetings
3. Promote Team Colyton at the following events:

Saturday 5 September, St Marys Spring Festival
o
Saturday 12 September, St Marys Soccer Club gala
o
Saturday 19 September, St Marys Band Club gala day
o
Saturday 26 September, Ray White Family Fun day at Kevin Maley Park
o
Police open day (February)
4. Flyers to hand out & display at shops: members of the team to hand out flyers, and display
posters at shops.
5. Newspaper story: Team members can speak to a journalist from a local paper.

8. Through churches (including church newsletters)
9. Letterbox drop

13. Posters up at Village centres at St Clair and St Marys
14. Use bus stops
15. Promote via email forwarding (everyone to have PDF flyers to send onto their contacts)
16. School and P&C newsletters
17. Use organisations to help promote (e.g. Community Junction)
18. Tie into school curriculum and units of study at Colyton High School
19. Have ambassadors for Team Colyton who visit everyone and spread the word
20. Through sporting clubs > Colyton Colts, St Marys Band Club
