I.
Do I have to validate my record after New Registration?
 Validation is not required after New Registration.
II.
Whenever I try to register, it shows your CNIC already exists in system.
 Your record already exists for previous financial year, please validate that record.
 If you want to update your academic details, please validate your previous record
before sending a request for HEC approval.
III.
My CNIC is incorrect on Student portal, I couldn’t validate my record.
 Please share the scanned copy of your CNIC with your focal person or email for your
correction to [email protected]
IV.
When I search my name, 2 records exist on portal. One with an incomplete status and the
other with Eligible but Validation awaited/Validated/Validated but Fee Not Received.
 Kindly validate at least 1 of your record using your correct CNIC.
V.
My record already exists in Laptop scheme, what should I do?
 Please register yourself on PMFRS portal using the same email and phone number used
in Laptop scheme.
*Any correction for email and mobile number will NOT be entertained
VI.
My district is not included in the list.
 Please check the list of eligible districts for Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme
on HEC website: http://hec.gov.pk
 If your district is in the name of eligible districts, please email your query to your focal
person or [email protected]

My University City is not in the list when I try to fill the New Registration form.
 Please select the City of your Main campus
VIII.
I lost my password for Helpdesk portal. How can I submit a request for Updating academic
details?
 Please use Lost password option on helpdesk portal, an email will be sent with a reset
link and you can change your password.
IX.
I didn’t receive mobile verification code on your mobile.
 Do not use a *converted mobile number.
 If your number is not converted then please wait for 5-10 minutes for the code and do
not click on Send Verification Code button twice.
*One network sim converted to another network i.e. ufone sim converted to warid
X.
I didn’t receive email verification code.
 Please check Spam folder of your email or try using another email
XI.
What is Update Academic detail?
 If you are currently enrolled in PhD and already availed Fee Reimbursement scheme in
Masters/MS/MBA then you are required to send a request to HEC for allowing you to
update your academic details.
 If you already completed Master and enrolled in Master Program in any other university
then you are not allowed to Update your academic details.
XII.
I submit a request for Updating academic detail but didn’t receive any response from HEC?
 Kindly wait for at least 24 hours to receive a reply.

Kindly use your OWN email and mobile number for validation/new registration.
Active Email and Active Number are required once for Prime Minister’s Schemes and No
correction will be entertained. Provision of Incorrect email and Phone may lead to
disqualification from Prime Minister’s Scheme.
Ensure that you keep your email and phone number active to take benefit for Prime Minister’s
Schemes in future.
