Sealed quotes are invited as per the specifications and terms and conditions listed below.
Specifications:
1. Super long working distance objective, 20X, NA of 0.25 or more, W.D. of 25mm or more
2. Super long working distance objective, 100X, NA of 0.6 or more, W.D. of 7.5 mm or more
Both objectives should satisfy these conditions:
 RMS thread
 Air objectives (no immersion)
 45 mm parfocal
 Plan Achromat objective lenses
 Compatible with Olympus BX51 microscope
 Objectives must be from one of these established brands: Zeiss, Leica, Olympus, Nikon, Mitutoyo
Terms and Conditions
 Ex-works and CIP New Delhi values should be quoted separately if import is required.
 All items must be supplied by one manufacturer for compatibility during assembly of the experiment.
 Quotations should have a minimum validity of 2 months.
 The goods should be shipped within 4-6 weeks from the day of the placement of the order from, IIT-K.
 Maximum educational discount should be applied – these products will be used for research as well as to
teach and train students.
 Terms and conditions for the payment, including the banker’s name of the principal and the account
number, if any, for electronic transfer.
 Technical literature to support your product.
 A summary table should be attached to highlight the compatibility of the product against the
specifications.
 Only principal manufacturers or authorized representatives are requested to send the quote along with
proper certificates. The envelope should be marked as “Quote for objectives”.
 The institute reserves the right of accepting and rejecting any quotation without assigning any

reason.
The indenter reserves the right to cancel the tender without being answerable.
