energy.
Solar energy can be an expensive endeavor. The truth is, solar actually pays for itself
over the life of the system. The challenge we face is how to finance it best. Oftentimes
customers are requested to pay for 20 years worth of electricity all at once!
RE-volv offers a cost effective community-centered way to go solar today.
RE-volv brings communities like yours solar energy at no upfront costs and starts saving
you money from day one.
Our community participation model allows your community members to join with
renewable energy supporters from anywhere in the world to fundraise for the initial
investment for your solar energy project. As the system pays for itself over time, those
funds finance other community solar projects.
Benefits for your organization:
 Solar energy at no upfront costs
 Savings of up to 10% on your electricity bill
 Community participation in making solar a reality
 Community education about solar energy
 Partner with a non-profit solar provider
 Be a part of the growing solar energy movement in the US!
How it Works:
RE-volv.org allows citizens who support renewable energy to directly finance
community solar energy projects. Through RE-volv's web-portal, online donations are
pooled and invested in solar energy on facilities that serve as community centers.
Communities like yours agree to purchase the electricity produced by the solar energy
system until the initial investment is recouped by RE-volv. This growing fund is
continually reinvested in additional community solar projects, creating a revolving loan.
