Tests
All tests have been carried out by the University of Ghent, textile department. A copy of the official
test results is available upon request. Samples of materials subjected to the stringent wear test
(Wronz test) are available for inspection at Verimpex, Brugge.
Fire test
Mats with aluminium profiles meet class B (in walking direction);
The tests are according to the test reports pr EN ISO 11925-2 and pr EN ISO 9239-1.
Smoke test
The mat meets class S1;
volgens testrapporten Pe EN ISO 13501-1 (2000).
Colour fastness test
This test is carried out according to ISO 105 B02 (1994): the result is class 6-7.
Class 8 is the best result.
Wronz test (stringent wear test)
All types of mats obtained the result 25.000 at the Wronztest.
This result corresponds with 500.000 to 1.200.000 steps.

EXECUTION
Installation
The mats with 8 mm height should be placed in a 10 mm deep matwell with a in-built frame
(available in aluminium or brass).
If the mats are placed on the floor, a ramping profile in aluminium can be used or a rubber frame
especially designed for this mat.
Production
The mat is made to size in the factory. It is made in one piece, but in case of larger surfaces, it is
advisable to divide this mat in several sections.
When making the mat, the dimensions of the sections are determined by the weight of each
section. The layout and the arrangement of the different sections is determined in consultation with
the manufacturer.
In case of broad surfaces, the sections are placed next to one another and separated by a reversed
T-shaped profile. The width of the mats is determined on the basis of aesthetic considerations and
required functionality.
A logo can be incorporated, subject to acceptance of the logo or drawing by the manufacturer.
The colours of the textile and the profiles must be chosen from the existing colours.
