Rotten egg ( Gnilo jajce)
Children are squatting in a circle. One player, who is holding an object (
for example: a piece of paper, a ball, a hanky, etc) in a hand, is walking
around the circle and singing a song. It goes like this: A little pot is going
around, don't look back, don't turn around. This song tells the players
that they are not allowed to turn around.
In one moment he places the object behind someone's back and starts
running. When the players see him running, they look behind their
backs. The one, who finds the object behind him, starts chasing him. The
player, who is running, has to sit on the place of the player who is
chasing him. If the player is caught, he has to sit in the middle of the
circle. He is called a rotten egg.
If the kid doesn’t notice the object behind him, he must come in the
middle of the circle and be the rotten egg untill he is replaced by
someone else.
The other player continues the game in the same way as the previous
player.
Mom, what time is it? ( Mama, koliko je ura?)
The players choose someone who is going to play Mom. The others
move a few feet behind a line. The players ask: Mom, what's the time?
And than she answers, for example: One mouse step back. Or Three
elephants steps forward. That means that the players have to make a
small step back or three big steps forward. Then they stop and repeat
the question again. Mom thinks of different animals ( for example: a
binny means they have to jump, a bird means they have to flutter,…) The
player who touches Mom first, becomes Mom in the next round.
