From the Super C along the inner ring
It’s only a few minutes‘ walk from the Market Place
to Aachen’s university quarter.
Here, where specialised ideas are the prime commodity, there are also plenty of specialist shops.
The remarkable Super C – the Service Centre of
the RWTH Aachen University, which also has an
excellent café – is the ideal starting point for a
fascinating exploration along Templergraben and
Löhergraben, roads that trace the ring of the old
inner town wall. Whether PCs and notebooks, sport
bikes including repair services, or a suitable haircut
– between the student quarter and the Jakobsviertel district you’ll find real professionals at work.
When you take a stroll along the inner ring, you’ll
soon notice that between the modern university
architecture and the idyllic old buildings there are
lots of shop windows showing something new for
you to discover.
