The course consists of four parts

After You have passed all parts,
You have passed the course!
Lectures
Lectures are on 5.9, 12.9 and 19.9
You give the lectures in small teams
Each of You has to give two 45 minutes lectures
I will allot the teams and subjects and inform You by
email this evening
You have to attend four lecturs given by other groups
and write short commentaries on them, too.
Commentaries
In a commentary, You must
1) Review the main issues of the lecture
2) Mention at least one issue which was explained well
3) Give at least one suggestion how to improve the lecture
4) Point out possible mistakes, if any
Concentrate on the mathematics, not on the way of presentation
The commentary must be sent to me within one week of the lecture
concerned
Essay
You have to write a three pages essay individually
The instructions will follow the rules of IEEE
conference papers
I will allot subjects to You and inform You by email
this evening (further instructions attached)
You have to review four essays, too.
