In 1997, following extensive customer research,
industry pioneers Scott Safety introduced
the original baseball style bump protection solution,
First Base. Bump protection evolved again in 2003
with the launch of First Base+ as further research
determined the need for improved aesthetics and
comfort levels. Today, the new First Base 3 provides
unprecedented levels of fit and comfort, taking
stability, protection and wearer acceptance to new
levels.
At the core of the First Base 3 revolution is
the unique, patented shell designs, ergonomically
shaped for comfort and protection. The shells are
complemented by a range of stylish and durable
fabrics to suit any need.
Comfort
Delivered by the patented, highly breathable,
micro perforated shell with indirect top ventilation
system and humidity reducing, hypoallergenic fabrics
with advanced wicking fabric sweatband to draw
moisture away from the skin.
Stability
The adaptive shell design contours uniquely around
the head for a stable, individual and comfortable fit.
The elasticated adjustment strap positions beneath
the occipital bone for increased stability.
Protection
The unique shell designs deliver optimum
protection and are shaped over the ear to provide
enhanced compatibility with other forms of PPE.
