Session IV: Aims




to beter understand the interactons between water, food, energy and
ecosystems in river basins,
to strenghten synergies and policy coherence between the water, agriculture,
energy and land management sectors,
to assess interdependencies and to identfy intersectoral synergies and
mutually benefcial soulutons in transboundary basins in order to reduce
potental conficts across sectors and across borders,
to support decision making processes to enhance sustainability.

Adaptng alpine and mountain river basins to climate change
What are the strengths and weaknesses of the management of Soča/Isonzo river basin?
What are the main issues to deal with?
What are the good example of cooperaton already running?
How to improve the transboundary cooperaton?
What are the main feld of cooperaton that could be improved in a “nexus perspectve”?
