Masterpass™ is the digital payment solution from
Mastercard, with which your customers can
securely, quickly and conveniently pay at thousands of online shops - from anywhere and with
any standard device; whether it is a smartphone,
tablet or computer. All payment data and delivery
addresses in the digital wallet are protected by
multiple layers of security and are transmitted in
an encrypted form. SIX Payment Services is following the trend of the new wallet solutions and offers
you Masterpass as a new method of payment for
your online shop.
Time-consuming data entry is a thing of the past. Your
customers only need to register once with Masterpass
and can complete all of their orders in future with just
a few clicks. Registration can be carried out straight
away during the payment process: online with all
participating banks or directly at Masterpass.com.

What do Masterpass transactions cost?
No change to your existing contract with SIX is necessary and you do not need to conclude a new acceptance agreement. There are no further costs for you
associated with the implementation of Masterpass and
the agreed conditions, depending on the card used, will
remain the same.
Masterpass sends you the card details following the payment so that you can carry out the transaction using your
normal card process. As no third party or other entity
needs to be involved, the processes remain clean so you
can quickly and easily offer an additional payment
option without any impact on your day-to-day business.
How does the connection to
your online shop work?
Masterpass is automatically activated free of charge
on your standard payment page (Saferpay payment
page). You are not required to make any payment
associated with the connection to Masterpass.
If you use an external connection to Saferpay from
your shop, simply contact your provider for an update.
This is how your customers pay
with Masterpass in your shop
Masterpass appears as another payment
method on your Saferpay payment page.
However, your customers will only be
offered the payment methods in the wallet,
which they already use in your webshop.
