bellavista 1000e ICU ventilator – sometimes bigger is

The bellavista 1000e is the newest addition to the bellavista ventilator family. It is a
development of the successfully established bellavista 1000 ventilator made by the Swiss
company imtmedical AG and it will go on sale in the first quarter of 2017. The key
characteristics or the new product are the glass touchscreen, which has been increased to
17.3", the two new ventilation modes, High-Flow Oxygen Therapy and the new Lung
Recruitment Tool. The familiar, user-friendly interface known from the existing ventilators has
been adapted to the larger screen and makes it easy to view the patient’s condition.

The display leads the way towards a unique user experience. The bellavista 1000e from
imtmedical features a brilliant, high-resolution 17.3" glass touchscreen. All the figures and
graphs can be seen as clear as glass in high definition on the large screen and are presented in
such a way as to maintain a clear overview, even in complex and stressful situations.
Interacting and working with the capacitive touchscreen feels intuitive and natural, right from
the start, and makes for a pleasant user experience.
New: with High-Flow Oxygen Therapy and Lung Recruitment Tool
The High-Flow Oxygen Therapy completes the non-invasive approach and the Lung
Recruitment Tool puts users in a position to be able to set the ideal PEEP value in order to
recruit closed lung areas.
With customisable software solutions, users can decide for themselves how they would like to
use the bellavista 1000e. A practical and unique advantage of the bellavista family.
Less pressure on care staff thanks to adaptive ventilation modes
The universal bellavista 1000e supports users in their day-to-day work in intensive care and
monitoring, no matter whether the patient is a premature baby or an adult. The 1000e can
perform both invasive as well as non-invasive respiration. The adaptive AVM ventilation mode
accelerates weaning from the ventilator and reduces the care staff’s workload.
