Members would issue the relevant equipment required by patrollers and monitor them during the shift. CR operators will also liaise closely with SAPS CoC. Planned Operations These are aimed at members that have indicated that they are willing to assist in joint operations with SAPS, Provincial Traffic, and Law Enforcement. Planned Operations will include Vehicle Check Points (VCP’S) and Road Blocks. Due to the nature of the operations, many requests from law enforcement divisions will come at very short notice. Response Team This team consists of members that have indicated a willingness to assist SAPS in situations where specific Schedule 1 offences have occurred, and will also assist at accident scenes.
