Get on your game face y’all… it’s almost time for kickoff! fronteraproduce.com crescentfruit.com ROASTED PORK LOIN SLIDERS WITH FRESH WATERMELON SALSA Make sure you make extra watermelon salsa to serve with your favorite tortilla chips as a refreshing snack or appetizer! Ingredients Salt 1 teaspoon fresh Frontera lime juice 1 pork tenderloin Spice Rub: Directions 2 teaspoons paprika Preheat oven to 325°. Combine paprika, 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper cayenne, garlic salt, cumin, cinnamon and 1 teaspoon garlic salt thyme. Sprinkle evenly over pork loin. Heat 1/4 teaspoon cumin oil in dutch oven, brown pork loin on all sides. 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon Remove from heat, pour wine over roast. 1/8 teaspoon ground thyme Cover and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until 2 tablespoons canola oil thermometer registers 145 degrees.While pork 1/2 cup dry white wine is roasting, combine watermelon, jalapeno, 1 cup honey barbecue sauce onion, cilantro and lime juice. Top with bacon, serve warm. Who doesn’t love jalapeño poppers? Combine Italian Monterey jack cheese spread evenly over each of the six poblano halves. Bake for 3035 minutes, or until poblanos are tender and easily pierced by a fork. Cheesy, mouthwatering stuffed poblanos are perfect for table-gating or watch parties. This salad is the perfect to accompany a burger or hot dog! 2 avocados 1 Frontera cantaloupe 1 Frontera honeydew 3 Frontera jalapenos ½ Crescent white onion 1 Frontera papaya ½ Crescent watermelon ½ cup fresh Frontera lime juice Directions Gather a bowl, cutting board, and sharp knife. Dice onion and jalapenos as finely as possible. Remove all seeds and skin from all remaining fruit and cube into similar size and shape. Combine ingredients in bowl and dress with lime juice. Enjoy on a hot, summer day! fronteraproduce.com crescentfruit.com TEXAS THIRST-QUENCHING LIME BEER-RITA Ingredients 1 Frontera lime, cut into 8 wedges 1/4 cup coarse salt Add a splash of sprite or 7-Up to lighten up your beer-rita! 2 (12-ounce) bottles of your favorite Texas beer, chilled 1/2 cup frozen concentrate limeade, thawed 1/2 cup of your favorite chilled Texas tequila Ice cubes Directions Rub lime wedges around rims of 4 margarita glasses. Dip rims into salt to coat lightly. In a medium pitcher, combine beer, limeade, and tequila. Fill prepared glasses with ice, then with margarita mixture. Garnish with remaining lime wedges.
