BIOENERGETIC APPLICATION/ DIRECTIONS
Recommended dosage: One sachet (35g) every ± 30
minutes with ± 250ml water. Can be alternated with Octane
Drink within the hour.
Vary dosage according to individual needs, i.e. the amount
of sachets and volume of water per hour depend on degree
of exertion, age, sex, weight, climate etc.
 Consume regularly during training and whilst competing.
 Consume whenever energy levels are exhausted or
depleted.
BIOENERGETIC BENEFITS

Unique carbohydrate combination contributes to stable
blood glucose levels, thus inhibiting hypoglycemia (low
blood sugar). The carbohydrate mixture provides
instant as well as prolonged energy.

Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT’s), which basically
make up the fat content, also provide instant energy in
a concentrated form.

One sachet (35g) Octane Gel provides 25 % of daily
requirement for antioxidant vitamins C and E (reduce
the damaging effects of increased oxidation during
exercise) and ±7,5 % of daily requirement for vitamin B
complex
(co-factors in releasing energy from
carbohydrate).

The Octane Gel mineral mixture is scientifically
designed to buffer accumulating lactate that is
produced during physical exertion as well as to replace
excessive electrolyte losses that may be responsible for
cramps and fatigue.







Chromium is known to improve blood glucose
tolerance.
L-Carnitine facilitates fat oxidation, thereby increasing
energy release from stored body fat.
L-Glutamine plays an essential role in maintaining
muscle protein balance, thus inhibiting catabolism of
muscle mass. It also indirectly has an anti-inflammatory
action (helps to synthesize Glutathione that controls
free radical formation). This amino acid also delays
fatigue.
Rapid stomach depletion.
Research studies indicate improved performance when
carbohydrates are consumed in combination with
protein.
Octane Gel is composed of CHO 83 %, Protein 5 %
and Fat 12% of total free energy.
Contains no stimulants and all ingredients are deemed
legal substances by the IOC.
