New Kärcher cold water high-pressure
cleaners with combustion engine
Focus on mobility and ease of use
Winnenden, April 2016 – Kärcher is introducing a range of five new
petrol or diesel-powered cold water high-pressure cleaners for
autonomous work in areas without the right power supply. The
machines offer a working pressure of 150 bar (Model HD 7/15 G) up to
230 bar (Model HD 9/23 G) with respective maximum capacities of 650
and 930 litres of water per hour.
Ergonomics and practicality for tough applications
Thanks to the ergonomic frame concept, the high-pressure cleaner can
be easily tilted and transported, even on uneven surfaces. Large,
puncture-proof wheels reduce maintenance effort and provide high
mobility. Accessories can be stored directly on the machine and are
always at hand.
The machines are built on a robust pipe frame, which can be expanded
with an additional protective frame with eyelets for crane loading and
with a hose reel. Depending on the model, the machines offer
uninterrupted operation for between 100 and 160 minutes on a single
tank filling. Water can be drawn from lakes or ponds if needed; a large
water filter protects the pump from dirt particles. Other safety equipment
includes a thermostat valve, which prevents overheating in the
recirculation system and a safety valve to protect against pressure
overload. Working together, all these features enable operation even
under harsh conditions and in remote areas.
