AEG AutoSense: fully automatic
private chef at home
Automatic cooking for five food categories in an extra-large
oven / highly energy-efficient and self-cleaning
Intelligence and elegance now contribute towards turning perfect roasting,
cooking and baking into child's play with the new AEG AutoSense. The multifunction oven is fitted with a ring heater and until now it is the only oven that
automatically sets the right heating mode, temperature and cooking time and
recognizes when a dish is ready – at the push of a button. The cook decides
which dish is to be served, and AEG AutoSense takes care of the rest.
Refined quiches, crispy duck or apple strudel – even complicated dishes are
bound to be a success, without having to anxiously check the food and adjust
the settings.
1,001 variants to indulge in, all of them developed in Germany
Made of elegant glass and stainless steel with an anti-fingerprint stainless
steel coating, the AEG AutoSense cooks fully automatically once the
category and type of food have been entered by touch control. And there is a
choice of five food categories for baking, roasting, ready-made meals or
oven-baked dishes, and pizza. A total of 76 different settings can be made for
indulging in 1,001 variants. The recipe memory can be programmed and can
store 20 more personal recipes. "The new AEG AutoSense is a fully
automatic private chef to meet the needs of young families and those of
users of all ages for whom perfect performance in the kitchen and culinary
delicacies are important. Our intelligent oven was developed especially for
the needs of the European market in Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Germany.
The oven is a perfect helper: it bakes by itself, lets you know when food is
ready, doesn’t need to be pre-heated and is also safe for children," says
Andreas Nirschl, Electrolux Product Manager for Built-in Cooking.
Easy to operate
The settings are accessed with the NaviSight Plus function with a touch
control, stainless steel navigation dial and multi-function display. With the
core temperature sensor, an entire cooking process can be regulated by
keeping track of how the inside of the food is cooked. The FloodLight lighting
system and the MaxiView window, which is 20 per cent larger than that of the
predecessor model, give users a full overview of their meals and even
greater control over cooking procedures. SoftMotion technology closes the
oven door gently and quietly until it is completely closed.

Even distribution of heat and the highest level of energy efficiency
The innovative ThermiC°Air hot air system makes sure that heat is optimally
distributed throughout the appliance. Hot air is evenly dissipated inside the
oven so food is also evenly cooked – on any of the levels. This is made
possible with the aerodynamic design of the fan cover. The air openings
were enlarged and the pattern of the holes through which the air is sucked
was improved, thus helping to reduce the air resistance and generate a
better air flow. Around 1,000 performance tests have shown that the quality
of food prepared with the ThermiC°Air hot air system is improved by 12 per
cent in a comparison with customary hot air systems. The technology not
only makes it possible to heat up the appliance quicker and more evenly; it
also reduces the temperature by around 20 per cent in a comparison with
conventional ovens, thus considerably cutting down on energy required for
baking. A reflecting door coating also helps to direct more heat to the food
instead of into the kitchen. The IsoFront Top ensures that the oven door is
always cool as the temperature is never higher than 30 degrees centigrade
above room temperature. The innovative functions of the new AEG
AutoSense make it 20 per cent more economical than the upper limit
specified for an A energy efficiency rating.
Absolute cleanliness in the oven and fresh air in the kitchen
The three-stage PyroluxePlus self-cleaning system with a catalyst and
memory function uses heat to disintegrate residues which remain in the
inside of the oven after major cooking events and turn them into ash. All that
still needs to be done is to simply wipe out the oven with a damp cloth and it
will be clean again – no more smeary grease and sticky residue. The
CleanAir control filter also banishes spots of greases and steam from the
oven and keeps the air clean.
More volume and flexibility
The AEG Autosense BY9304001M from the AEG MaxiKlasse line comes in
standard installation dimensions, but its 74 liters offer far more oven space
than standard ovens. The MaxiTray baking tray is also around 20 percent
larger than standard baking trays, so bigger portions can be prepared, thus
saving on time and energy. The OptiFlex 5+4 rack holders with a Perfect
Entry function are highly flexible and convenient in use. Thanks to this
Perfect Entry function, baking trays can be pushed into the oven quickly and
easily. Up to nine rack levels can be chosen in combination with up to four
pairs of modern FlexiRunner telescopic slide-outs. Rack heights can thus
always be selected as needed. The FlexiRunners are easy to mount and are
available as partial or full runners. They can be used in pairs for any rack
level.
