ONLINE I‐20 REQUEST PROCESS FOR NEWLY ADMITTED F‐1 STUDENTS

Student submits Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) on URSA.
Student receives an e‐mail from DCISS with link to online UCLA I‐20 Request Portal
Student completes I‐20 Request online.
*Students Currently in the U.S.
UCLA I‐20 issued by DCISS
After submission of request, allow 2‐3 weeks for I‐20 processing. Student completes and uploads Confidential Financial Statement (CFS) / proof of financial support and Passport Photopage. *Proof of Financial Support
Shipment of UCLA I‐20 to student. GRADUATE STUDENTS: Academic departments will be notified of the I‐20 issuance by DCISS. I‐20 will be shipped to the student by their academic department. UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS:
I‐20 will be shipped via FedEx by DCISS to the student’s shipping address. Student will receive an e‐mail with shipment confirmation and FedEx tracking number. Shipment fees will be billed to the student’s BruinBill account. **Students with Dependents
