EAST COCALICO TOWNSHIP REAMSTOWN POOL RULES 2017
1.
No talking to lifeguards on duty.
2.
No horseplay in or around pool.
3.
No running on pool deck.
4.
No water guns, water plungers, ball playing, or obscene language or activities. Only
beach and Nerf balls are allowed. No rafts or inner tubes allowed in the pool area.
5.
Only U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices allowed for non-swimmers. No water
wings or like devices allowed.
6.
Each child under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or a responsible individual 16 years
or older whom the parent designates in writing as being liable for that child’s safety.
Children under (3) three must be accompanied and watched by a qualified chaperone 16
years or older in the pools at all times.
7.
Only one person in the diving board or water slide areas at a time. Children 10 years or
younger must pass a swim test to use these areas.
8.
Diving board and water slide area are for those activities only. No balls or floats allowed in
these areas.
9.
All infants must be wearing PA state health department approved bathing diapers.
10. No cut-off shorts in pool.
11. No chewing gum anywhere.
12. No smoking, pets, or glass bottles in pool area.
13. Fins, masks, and snorkels must be approved by pool manager. These items are not allowed
in diving board or water slide area.
14. No littering. Place all trash in appropriate receptacles.
15. No urinating or defecating in the pool area except in the appropriate rest room facilities.
16. No person will be permitted in the pool: having skin lesions, sores, or inflamed eyes; having
mouth, nose, or ear discharge; carrying communicable disease; or having any type of
bandage, adhesive tape, etc., on their body.
17. No coolers allowed.
18. All children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult to use the rest room and showers.
Failure to follow any of these rules may result in one verbal warning from the pool staff or manager
followed by immediate eviction from pool area and suspension of pool privileges for a period
designated by management.
