The Growing Years: A History of the Garden Club of Toronto 1946 – 2007 by Helen Skinner This 156 page hardcover book encompasses 60 years of the Garden Club of Toronto’s contributions to our city. Fourteen public gardens and thousands of trees, flowers and shrubs colour and scent the air of Toronto because club members have recognized the importance of green space.
