This Pumping Station is equipped with Air Contactor Type
Across the Line Starters and was faced with the high cost
of replacement parts and un-scheduled downtimes. Local
OEM modified the existing cubicles and replaced two of
the six old style starters with the JK OEM Power Cells.
The remainders of the old style Air Contactors were
replaced during scheduled maintenance shut downs.

The Power Cells was used to replace old style AIR DRAWOUT CIRCUIT
BREAKER Controlgear protecting and controlling motor loads within an existing facility. The continuous failure of the mechanical mechanisms and costly
electrical contact replacement forced the user to consider replacing the entire
existing Controlgear. Valuable real-estate and labor dollars was saved by reusing the existing cabinets and conduits plus upgrade to current vacuum technology electrical controllers.

The OEM Power Cells are designed to replace existing air or old vacuum contactor applications when used for motor or small distribution feeders.
The kit provides you with state-of-the-art Toshiba vacuum technology and the patented
bolted pressure isolation switch.
