Flex System Active is the set
of accessories (duct, antimicrobial
neck and fastening strip) that makes

The ALPactive natural antimicrobial
technology makes of the flexible duct
an antimicrobial agent.
Thanks to the combined activity of the
zeolite and the silver ions incorporated
into the aluminium surface, it turns
the duct into a means active against
600 families of microorganisms.
The efficacy of the system in inhibiting
the formation of microbial breeding
grounds inside the flexible duct,
and consequently in drastically reducing
the risk of microbial contamination
of the supply air, has been proved
by studies and researches carried out
by the Innovation Department
of the Italian Minister of Health.

Flex Active is available in two versions:
Non-insulated (Flex Active)
the ideal duct for ordinary installations
• two reinforced aluminium layers (thickness 30 micron) kept together by a spiral-shaped stainless steel wire;
• inner treatment with natural antimicrobial.

• treated with natural antimicrobial;
• intermediate insulation with PET liner (thickness 20 mm);
• external double layer of reinforced aluminium (thickness 30 micron).
The flexible duct is available in six different diameters, from 102 mm up to 315 mm,
to meet with the specific needs of any application.
The range is completed by a neck, also treated with the Active antimicrobial,
that allows the connection between the duct and the flexible duct by granting
the continuity of the antimicrobial properties throughout the installation.
