– Suggested topic at 2005 ASM was “Advances in Solid Rocket
Technology”
• No current lead
• Concerns with getting enough material for 1-1/2 to 2 day course; U.S.
industrial participation and export-control limitations
– Repeat Short Course “Solid Rocket Igniter Technology and
Applications”, with updates and additions(?)
• 2006 Joint Propulsion Conference, Sacramento, CA
• Tom Moore reports several people missed course last time and are
interested in taking the course
– AIAA needs course profile information ASAP

– Concerns that collective documentation may be subject
to U.S. export control laws.
– Tom Moore will ask his CPIAC Contracting Officer
Representative (COR) for an opinion on release
• Communication with COR limited over past 3 months due to
