SCRIPTURE READINGS
FIRST READING: Deuteronomy 4:32-34, 39-40
Know this: The Lord is God of heaven and earth. There is no other. Because God
worked wonders for you, keep the commands that you and your children may prosper.
SECOND READING: Romans 8:14-17
You did not receive a spirit of slavery but a Spirit of adoption, through whom we cry out
“Abba, Father!” The spirit bears witness that we are children of God.
GOSPEL READING: Matthew 28:16-20
Jesus commissioned the eleven to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Father’s Day - Remember your Father’s, living and deceased, in the FATHER’S DAY
REMEMBRANCE. An envelope is included in your box, so that you may make a special
gift for the Novena of Masses. Envelopes may also be found at the doors of the church.
You may place the envelope in the collection basket now so that their names may be
included in the Masses.

The Community Outreach Committee will be collecting the following for the
Saugerties Food Bank: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss,
deodorant, tissues, shaving cream, hand lotion, razors, razorblades, body wash, nail
clippers, hairbrushes, mouth wash, Q-tips.
There will be a basket at the rear of the church for you donations Thank you in advance
for your generosity!
Parish Unification Picnic
Bringing our new parish family together on Sun. August 16th to celebrate out unity as a
community and church. It is being sponsored by our Holy Name Society we thank them
for this effort. We are requesting a pre registration and a $10 family fee in advance to
help cover costs .Sign up sheets can be found in the back of the church.
