The annual meeting on CMR of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), is quite simply the largest and most important CMR meeting in Europe. We are building on the success of last year where the increased number of attendees, faculty and exhibitors made for one of the best meetings of recent years. As before, the meeting will be a 2.5 day meeting including joint sessions with other sections of the EACVI, the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR), the European Society of Cardiac Radiology (ESCR). The program preserves some favourites including the CMR Level 1 track, but now includes several new features: a new technologists track aimed at technologists and doctors engaged in acquiring CMR, and hands-on with stress and congenital cases for your logbook for CMR level 2/3 certification. Session highlights include CMR for inpatients, debate on "Valve Disease Assessment - Cardiac MRI or Echo: which one is the best?" and 4D flow sessions, the New Big CMR Quiz (with grand prizes), CMR for inpatients, and the traditional World Cup - this time with Cardiology vs Radiology. Our opening plenary is "CMR at the limits" and we will be presenting major results of new trials and new consensus statements. As before, special courses on flow, anatomy and, for the first time 3D printing will be available (limited places). On behalf of the organising committee and the whole EACVI, we welcome you to Prague in May. Prof. Bogdan A. Popescu, EACVI President 2016-2018 Prof. James Moon, EuroCMR 2017 Chair Dr Chiara Bucciarelli-Ducci, EACVI CMR Section Chair 2016-2018 Dr Francisco Alpendurada, EuroCMR 2017 abstract Chair Prof. Steffen Petersen, CMR Section Vice-Chair 2016-2018 Dr. Mark Westwood and Dr. Robin Nijveldt, CMR Section Nucleus members 2 CONTENT 3 ›› PROGRAMME AT GLANCE 4 ›› SCIENTIFIC SESSIONS 5 ›› SPECIAL COURSES 46 ›› ORAL ABSTRACTS & CASES 47 ›› MODERATED E-POSTERS & E-CASES 48 PROGRAMME AT GLANCE Main Room Room 2 Room 3 Course Room Agora Poster Area Thursday 25 May Basic Course I How to do CMR 1 Basic Course II How to do CMR 2 Face off Expert update on CMR in practice Advanced Course I Mapping: how to do it Advanced Course II Visualising and measuring complex data 11:30-13:30 Case session for level 2/3 logbooks: Congenital 14:30-16:00 Advanced Course III CMR in clinical practice Advanced Course IV Congenital part 1 14:45-16:45 Case session for level 2/3 logbooks: Stress perfusion 16:45-18:00 Satellite Symposium Title TBD Advanced Course V Congenital part 2 18:05-19:00 Special Event Welcome address and Key note Lecture 09:00-11:00 11:45-13:30 13:30-14:30 19:00-19:30 Welcome Drinks Friday 26 May 08:15-09:40 09:45-10:45 Opening Plenary: CMR at the limits Oral Abstract BEST Oral abstracts Main Session Delivering CMR Research Moderated ePosters and eCases Session I 10:45-11:30 11:30-12:40 Lecture Session I Controversy in Chest pain testing Lecture Session II Congenital Technologist Session I CMR essentials 11:30-12:30 Special Course Anatomy of the heart 12:40-13:40 Satellite Symposium Title TBD Session of the CMR WG of the CSC: Increased role of CMR in Cardiology - experience from the CR 13:45-14:55 Lecture Session III Emerging clinical applications Oral Abstracts - Session I Ischemic Heart Disease CMR Cases Session I Clinical cases by the HIT 13:45-14:45 Special Course Anatomy of the heart Oral Abstract Quick Fire - Session II 15:00-16:10 Lecture Session IV Advanced Cardiomyopathy Main Session: HIT multi-imaging case session: the juniors meeting the experts CMR Cases Session II Cases from Eastern Europe and Around the World 15:30-16:30 Special Course 3D Printing Oral Abstracts Quick Fire - Session III 16:40-17:40 Special Course 3D Printing Cases Quick Fire - Session II Oral Abstract Quick Fire - Session IV Cases Quick Fire - Session I 16:10-16:55 17:00-17:40 17:40-18:50 Pro/Con Debate Valve disease CMR World Cup Competition - A EuroCMR/SCMR event Oral Abstracts - Session II Congenital Oral Abstracts - Session III Advanced Tissue Characterisation 19:00-20:00 Oral Abstract Quick Fire - Session I Main Session CMR for masses and pericardium Oral Abstracts - Session IV Novel CMR techniques and clinical applications Meet & Greet Reception Moderated ePosters and eCases Session II Saturday 27 May 07:30-08:25 08:30-09:30 09:30-10:40 Main Session HIT (Heart Imagers of tomorrow) - a Career in CMR Special Session The big CMR quiz Lecture Session VI Myocardial fibrosis Lecture Session V CMR for the Right Ventricle Lecture Session VII CMR in Special Patient Populations Technologist Session II CMR physiology CMR Case Session III Early disease and adaptation 09:30-10:30 Special Course: The heart's shape and structure in relation to function 10:40-11:25 11:25-12:15 Satellite Symposium Latest updates on late enhancement imaging 12:20-14:00 Closing Plenary Lecture Session VIII Horizon Scanning CMR Case Session IV Congenital 11:00-12:00 Special Course: The heart's shape and structure in relation to function Oral Abstracts Quick Fire - Session V Oral Abstracts Quick Fire - Session VI Cases Quick Fire - Session III Oral Abstracts Quick Fire - Session VII Moderated ePosters and eCases Session III SCIENTIFIC SESSIONS Thursday 25 May 2017 09:00-11:00 Main Room Basic Course I How to do CMR 1 Chairs: B.
