ADVANCED TOTAL DRY-USE POLISHING SYSTEM
For best results follow these recommended steps:
Knead the new Total Dry Use Compounding Foam between your fingers to soften it
before first use. This will significantly improve its performance.
For best results always prime new Total Foams with compound prior to use
Apply the Total Compound to the surface sparingly and spread with the Total Dry Use
Foam – too much product is unnecessary and can make its application appear greasy.
Begin compounding with a running speed of 1500 – 1800 rpm.
Using the Total Foam flat on the panel, buff until marks have been removed.
The structure of the Total Dry Use Foam is different to that of the white G Mop
Compounding Foam and it is designed to be used flat. Using the foam flat also helps
prevent swirl marks.
Continue compounding until the desired finish is achieved.
Finally, wipe carefully with a Farécla Finishing Cloth.
Product tips:
Regularly clean the Total Foam with a suitable spurring tool or if preferred the foam can
be rinsed under the tap to remove excess compound.
On dark colours such as black it may occasionally be advisable to finish with Gold Top
Machine Glaze. Leave the residue of the compound on the surface of the panel and use
the Gold Top Machine Glaze and an Advanced G Mop Polishing Foam to finish. Then
wipe clean with a Farécla Finishing Cloth.
If occasionally on darker colours swirl marks should be visible, they can be removed
using G10 on an Advanced G Mop Polishing Foam.
