CiCi’s Pizza Night Tonight ! CiCi’s Pizza (Clifford Street location) for our SPS Spirit
Night. Stop by between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and tell the cashier that you are there to support St.
Peter’s. A portion of the night’s revenue will come back to our school. Don’t cook dinner that
night – come have pizza and enjoy fellowship with other SPS families!
Blessing of the Pets!
Wednesday Oct. 12th we will be celebrating the Blessing of the Pets! More details to come next
week!
End of Quarter Coming Soon!
The first quarter of school will be ending on October 14, which means that report cards will be
coming soon after that. In order to receive your child’s report card you must not have any
outstanding bills, including Extended Care, lunches, tuition, etc. Thank you for your
cooperation.
Viva Las Vegas!
Save the date . . . Viva Las Vegas 2016 is coming in November! Viva Las Vegas is St. Peter the
Apostle Catholic School’s biggest fundraiser event of the year. This will be our 21st year, so
please save the date of NOVEMBER 12 to join us. We will have plenty of food and exciting
auctions (both silent and live). See unique items from vendors in our area, or maybe you’ll want
to bid on a project made by our school’s students. Tickets are $35 per person, or $40 per person
at the door. Purchase your tickets from school families after Masses starting October 15, or just
call the school office at (817) 246-2032. Thank you!
Sports Corner!
This past weekend was St. Peter’s Runners Club first 5K. Thank you to everyone that came out ran and
also those you came out and cheers on our runners. Congratulations to Tyler Vennel for taking 1st place
in his age division and Luke Vennel for taking 2nd place. Mrs. Vennel (Tyler & Luke’s mom) took 1st
place in her division. Mrs. Jordan (Austin’s mom) took 1st place in her division, and Emma Harrison ran
her first 5K and she won 2nd place in her division.

Play Like a Champion Training
Denton
ICC will host a training on October 18th for PLACT. Coaches training will take place from
6:00-9:00 pm and the parent training will begin at 7:00 pm and conclude at 8:00pm
Volunteer Opportunity Our volleyball concession stand is in need of (1) 12 pk. of canned
Cokes, Diet Cokes, Spirit, Dr. Pepper, and Diet Dr. Pepper.
Also, they can use 2 pkgs. of hotdogs and buns.
If you can help, please contact Mrs. Martinez or contact the office for further information. You
MUST be current on your Keeping Children Safe / Safe and Sacred certification.
