Description: Authors use various ways to develop characters. We will use the STEAL method to analyze all of the ways
that we, as readers, develop our perceptions about characters. These character descriptors are as follows: Speech,
Thoughts, Effect on others, Actions, and Looks.
Objective: You will focus on one of the following characters: Melinda, Heather, Mr. Freeman, David Petrakis, and Rachel.
