Energex’s Positive Payback program rewards households and businesses who install
PeakSmart air-conditioning, helping reduce energy during peak periods.
It’s as simple as connecting an additional device (signal receiver) to your air-conditioner during the
installation. This signal receiver will be activated on a few days a year during high energy demand.
When activated, your air-conditioner’s energy consumption will be capped for a short period, similar
to economy mode. The best part is you won’t have to do anything and won’t notice a different to
your comfort.

Buy a PeakSmart air-conditioner
All major brands are PeakSmart enabled. A complete list is available at

Get a signal receiver
Ask your retailer or installer to supply you with a signal receiver.
Install
Have your air-conditioner and signal receiver installed at the same time. Make sure your
installer completes the Installation Form enclosed in the signal receiver pack.
Apply for your reward
Go to energex.com.au/positivepayback
Have your Installation Form, air-conditioner receipt and bank details to apply.
Receive your reward
Once approved, your reward will be deposited into your nominated bank account by
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) within 28 days.
