Sustainable Landscape Application

Mill Creek Arts and Beautification Advisory Board’s
Sustainable Landscape Certification Application
A sustainable landscape should be an attractive landscape that uses no or minimal water, fertilizer,
pesticides, herbicides and energy. Native plants are easiest to use in a sustainable landscape but
compatible non-natives (ornamental) may be used. Sustainable landscape designers and landscapers
are becoming easier to find as people are becoming more concerned about protecting our environment.
