On the login page pick the option of “Sign in to one of the following sites:” and select “Cornerstone Production” from the drop down. Step 2: Type in your CSCC network login information when prompted (i.e. [email protected], network password) NOTE: The Cornerstone system automatically logs users off when it sits idle for 60 minutes. A pop-up box appears five minutes before the time limit is reached indicating the user will be logged off unless there is activity within that five minutes. Any work that has not been saved within the past 60 minutes cannot be recovered once the user is logged out. Page 3 of 7 Approving or Denying a Job Requisition Step 1: Once logged into the Cornerstone application, hover over the “Recruit” menu along the top navigation bar. If you have a requisition or offer pending your approval you should see the “Recruiting Approvals” option. Click on that menu item. Step 2: On the “Requisition Approvals” page under the “Pending” tab you should see a list of requisitions that are pending your approval. Click on the job title of the requisition you want to review. Step 3: Use the sub-navigation menu on the left hand side of the screen or the scroll bar on the right hand side of the screen to review the details of the selected requisition. Page 4 of 7 Step 4: Use the “Next” button at the bottom of each page to walk through the details of the requisition. Please note that you can hit the “Cancel” button at any time once you have completed your review. Step 5: Next you select whether you want to “Approve” or “Deny” the selected requisition by clicking on the appropriate button. Approval means the requisition continues through the chain of approval hierarchy (as defined by the division's VP/SVP) until all approvals are acquired, and then the requisition is posted to the applicable career sites. Denial means the req. will be returned to the Human Resources department for revisions/corrections and then HR will re-route the revised requisition back through the approval workflow until all approvals are given. Step 6: Once you have selected the “Approve” or “Deny” option it will appear grayed out and you will be given the option to add a comment. Click on the “Add Comment” button if you would like to add some commentary around your decision. Please note it is not required to add a comment. Page 5 of 7 Step 7 (Optional): If you choose to add a comment you will be presented with the text box depicted below. Add comments and click the “Save” button.
