possible for everyone. GGC will help you get a college degree that lays the
groundwork for your career.
CORE
FOUR
Students and employees at GGC are expected to
share these core values:
GGC’s four pillars: Leadership, Scholarship, Creativity and
Service are a major component of what is expected of all
GGC students and employees.
PILLARS
VALUES
INTEGRITY
We will be honest, fair, impartial and unbiased in
our dealings both with and on behalf of the college.
EXCELLENCE
LEADERSHIP
Students learn leadership and are given opportunities to lead.
We will perform our duties to foster a culture of
excellence and high quality in everything we do.
SCHOLARSHIP
ACCOUNTABILTY
CREATIVITY
We firmly believe that education in the form
of scholarship, research, teaching, service
and developing others is a public trust. We will
live up to this trust through safeguarding our resources
and being good stewards of the human, intellectual,
physical and fiscal resources given to our care.
RESPECT
We recognize the inherent dignity and rights of
every person, and we will do our utmost to fulfill
our resulting responsibility to treat each person
with fairness, compassion and decency.
Learning takes place both inside and outside of the classroom.
GGC encourages you to find new, better ways of doing things,
or expressing your creativity through the arts.

of Service, America Reads, Gwinnett County Public School
