Baseball Players leave an Impression

Baseball Players leave an Impression
It was a beautiful Friday for January with the sun shining and the temperatures
unseasonably mild. Most students headed off after school to fulfill their weekend
plans but not junior Gordon Lovensheimer or freshman Cameron Carl.
A Latonia resident sought help from Coach Ryan for some yard work. Coach Ryan
asked for a couple of volunteers and Gordon and Cameron quickly answered the
call. With the aid of rakes, gloves and bags, the trio had the yard looking good
after about an hour and a half.
The Latonia man sent Holy Cross Principal, Mike Holtz, a nice note regarding the
gentlemanly nature of the boys and was complimentary of Holy Cross students in
general.
A special note to the Holy Cross Community: If the baseball team can ever be of
help getting your house closed down for the winter or opened up for the spring
season, do not hesitate to call the school and ask for the baseball coach.
