Water Purification System
 The Lake water purification system by Aeration &
floating fountains (4 Nos) were installed and is
functioning since 23.01.2009. 10 more floating
fountains have been installed in 2013 for
beautification and aeration of Anasagar Lake.

Bio-remediation of drains terminating into Anasagar
lake has been taken up since Feb-2013 for treatment
of waste water flowing through drains before
entering in to the lake. At present work is under

WORKS PERFORMED UNDER NLCP- ANASAGAR LAKE
• The sanctioned desilting work of the lake in
2,15,000 cum has been completed, The work of
Desilting in 20000 cum on Anted Nallah,
Chaurasiyawas Nallah, Kazi ka Nallah & Bandi
Nadi has been completed.
• Pucca works for construction work of a pilot
channel with cement concrete bed in about 308
m length in Anted Nallah has been completed
behind the Press club on the Gaurav Path.
• The fencing and Afforestation in 206 Ha &
construction of check dam 31 nos have been
completed by the forest Dept.
• Water Quality Monitoring by testing of sample
monthly is being done regularly in lake and drains.
