Plant Orders
Once again this year we have been approached by the local plant nursery Moss Valley Nurseries
to offer summer bedding plants and hanging baskets to our parents and carers. People who have
ordered plants in previous years have praised the quality of the plants, so we are happy to offer
the service again this year. Plants can be ordered through the school using the order form
attached to the back of this newsletter. Please just fill in the order form and send it into the school
office with your payment and your plant order will be delivered to school on Thursday 25th May,
ready for you to collect at the end of the school day.
For every order placed the nursery will donate 15% of the total cost to school funds. So not only
can you get all your summer bedding plants ready for to have fun planting them during the half
- term holiday, but you will also be supporting the school by raising additional funds towards
school equipment. If you need additional copies of the order form for family and friends, or have
any questions, please contact the school office who will be happy to help.
Class Photos
You should have received a letter this week informing you that we will be taking class
photographs on Monday 22nd May. All children will automatically be included on the class photo.
If you do not want your child to be included please inform us by either speaking to your child’s
class teacher or returning the reply slip on the bottom of the letter.

come and join us, we would love to see you.
Sparkle And Shine
Once again our children have shown us how great they are and how hard they are working to
receive their special Sparkle and Shine awards. The range of reasons that they receive their
awards for is endless and it is always a great ending to the week to celebrate their achievements.
Well done to our Sparkle and Shine stars from last week.
SATS Tests
We would like to congratulate all our Year 6 pupils on how well they have worked this week on
their SATs tests. It can be a very intense and stressful week, but all our Year 6 children have
arrived into school early and prepared for the tests and have all aimed to complete their tests
with determination and a smile on their faces. Well done, we are proud of you all.
Year 2 have the whole of the month of May to complete their tests and they are continuing to
work hard doing their best. Well done Year 2, keep up the good work.
