Team One recently sponsored a trip to see a Great
Lakes Loons game for approximately 350 kids
during School Kids Day at Dow Diamond. Bus
transportation was also sponsored by the
credit union.
Students and their chaperones from Caro, Bad
Axe and Sandusky schools experienced a thrilling
baseball game between the Great Lakes Loons
and Lake County Captains. There was an air of
excitement starting with the first pitch, as this
was the first trip to Dow Diamond for many of the
students. The kids also enjoyed lunch at the park
and were given souvenir t-shirts.
“Our students and chaperones were so excited for
game day”, said Karrie J. Foy, Guidance Counselor
at Bad Axe Elementary and Middle School. “Thanks to Team One for organizing this event
for them.”
