Did you know that the Junior Miner Football & Cheer organization is one of the few
programs where the players or cheerleaders are on the same age-based teams and
compete against out of area teams? That’s right! Instead of local kids competing
against each other, we are a unifying force in Nevada County for over 150 families.
Our volunteer-run program promotes discipline, sportsmanship, self-esteem, and the
development of life skills through engaging youth in sports while providing a safe,
healthy, positive environment where the youth of our community can learn the
fundamentals of football and cheerleading.
We need your support to keep the program going strong!
The annual budget of over $90,000 is not fully covered by the participation fees.
