hunt trials under BHA Rules and Regulations. Rules can be found at www.barnhunt.com
Open to all Breeds & Mixed Breeds of all sizes
These tests will be held indoors at the arena
Classes offered each day:
Trial 1: Instinct Test (optional), Novice, Open, Senior, Master
Trial 2: Novice, Open, Senior, Master
Day to Day and Trial to Trial move ups will be allowed

Entries will be accepted by mail/email in order received until limit is reached
or until Final closing date of August 1, 2017

Entry fees: $15 for Instinct Test; $20 for all other classes.
Day of Show fees: $15 for Instinct Test; $25 for all other classes.

All dogs must be on leash and under control while on trial grounds. Approved collars
include flat snap or buckle collars of solid construction and leather or nylon leads.
Limited slip martingale collars are allowed. Single piece slip collars/leads are allowed.
Harnesses, with the exception of head-halter types, are allowed. Dogs MUST run
“naked,” without a collar/harness. Collars/harnesses which can be easily and quickly
removed and replaced are strongly encouraged. NO flexi-leads or electronic collars will
be allowed.
From the south take I-39 N/US-51 N to Wausau. Exit 194 from US-51
N (County Road U), make a left on County Road U County Road U to
Evergreen Drive (6.6 miles), then make a right on Evergreen Dr in
Stettin. The area is on the right on N108th Ave (2nd drive/parking area
on right).
From the north take I-39 S/US-51 S to Wausau. Exit 194 from US-51
N (County Road U), make a right on County Road U County Road U to
Evergreen Drive (6.6 miles), then make a right on Evergreen Dr in
Stettin. The area is on the right on N108th Ave (2nd drive/parking area
on right).
From the East or West: take US-29 to I-39N/US-51N to Wausau. Exit
194 from US-51 N (County Road U), make a left on County Road U
County Road U to Evergreen Drive (6.6 miles), then make a right on
Evergreen Dr in Stettin. The area is on the right on N108th Ave (2nd
drive/parking area on right)
These trials will be held indoors in at a horse arena. The main flooring is a loose
sand/clay mixture. Rings will be covered by tarp & constructed of snow fencing.
It is advisable to bring a crate for your dog during times they may need to be left
attended. There will be ample crating space available inside the building. Please
ensure crates are secure as the dogs may be highly excited. Xpens are not permitted.
Please cover overexcited dogs. Soft side crates are not recommended.
Please help us keep the trial site clean by picking up after yourself and your dog.
Dog exercise areas will be marked. Please pick up after your dog and dispose of
waste in appropriate containers outside the building.
Please bring adequate water for you and your dogs.
There are many restaurants available within 10-15 minutes of trial. The club will have
food for sale on site.
Smoking is not allowed on the grounds. If you must smoke, you will need to do so
inside your vehicle and dispose of the butts in the vehicle also.

Paper Cities Kennel Club Trial: Schedule & Instructions
All entries must be accompanied by entry fees to be valid. A returned check
does not constitute a valid entry. There will be a $25 fee placed on all returned
checks. No entries will be taken over the phone. Entries submitted through
email must include a scanned copy of the completed and signed entry form with
payment made through PayPal.
Make check payable to PCKC. Send entries & fees to the trial secretary. We
prefer entries be scanned & emailed to [email protected] with PayPal

Dogs will be run in height order, small to large. Dogs being handled by
the same person will be separated into different staged groups.

Refunds
No refunds will be made after the closing date of these trials. Entry fees will
not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or
barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. No entry fee will be
refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reasons of riots, civil
disturbances, fire, acts of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy, or
any other cause beyond the control of the Trial Committee and Paper Cities
Kennel Club.
Loud/Disruptive dogs
Dogs that are loud and disruptive may be asked to locate away from the
rings/crating area and/or staged away from the other dogs getting ready to
compete.

HEIGHT DIVISIONS
Dogs 13.1 to 18"
Bitches in season are eligible for entry but will be required to be kept
separate from all other dogs and will be run in panties at the end of their
class/trial.
 Entry fees for bitches that come into season will be refunded until time of
trial closing, if you choose to withdraw. After trial closes on August 31,
2016 entry fees for will not be refunded
 If bringing a bitch in season, please inform the trial committee prior to the
trial, and you must inform all exhibitors at the judge’s briefing.
Dogs over 18"
Large
Any dog behaving in a threatening or aggressive manner toward another dog
or a person may be dismissed from the trial, without benefit of refund, if
justification is found to do so by the judge and/or trial committee.
Any dog that is sick, injured or lame will be excused from the trial grounds.
Please be considerate about picking up after your dogs and leaving the
grounds as you found them. Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused
without benefit of refund if the Event Committee deems the exhibitor to be
in violation of this requirement per BHA regulations.
Move up forms will be available at the Secretary’s table and must be completed
at the end of your qualifying run. Move ups due to titling at a previous trial must
be received prior to the move up class start.
Exhibitors are responsible for entering the staging area/blind when asked and
remain in the staging area/blind until called to the gate. The judge is not
required to wait for any team.
Awards: Rosettes will be awarded for the first through fourth place in Novice, Open,
Senior and Master classes in each height division. High in Class rosettes will also be
awarded. Ribbons will be awarded for all qualifiers in these classes and the Instinct
Test. New Title rosettes will be awarded to all dogs earning a title. Additional prizes
may be offered.
