Programme of Events 2016
Please see attached list of events taking place at Whitkirk Tennis Club during 2016.
Whitkirk Club
As a club we are in the fortunate position to benefit financially from the profits of The Whitkirk Club, particularly
in the area of maintenance. The profits of the Whitkirk Club come from bar takings. I would therefore
encourage you to make use of the facilities in the Whitkirk Club as much as possible. Membership for an
individual also includes their partner. If you are not currently a member, I would encourage you to join –
membership forms are available in our clubhouse.
If you are a full paying senior member, the tennis club pays the Whitkirk Club subscription from our income. If
you join as an associate member you can include the additional charge to join the Whitkirk Club, and I will sort
out your membership with the Club. If you are a life member, the same applies. The Whitkirk Club do have
spot checks on persons using the facilities so it would be helpful if you could carry your Whitkirk Club
membership card or other id with you please.
E-mail Addresses
The Committee are always looking for ways to save the Club money. With the ever increasing cost of postage,
we would like where possible, to use e-mail as our main method of communication. If you have an e-mail
address, please would you include the information on the ‘Membership Renewal 2016’ form so you don’t miss
out on future communications.
On behalf of the Committee, I wish you an enjoyable year’s tennis.
Yours Faithfully
Caroline Harding
Club Secretary
