SUMMER ACADEMY
2017
Fisheries and Wildlife Biology
July 23–29
Do you enjoy the outdoors? Are you interested in wildlife?
Do you care about conservation?
Join us for a field-based research experience in the fundamentals of natural
resource conservation. In this week-long academy, high school students will learn
how to manage fish and wildlife populations and evaluate critical features of their
habitats. Students will conduct field projects in which they will design their own
research studies, shape data analyses, and propose management strategies.
In addition, they will have the opportunity to interact with professionals in the field
to learn more about career opportunities in fisheries and wildlife.
