Bournemouth Borough Council’s Parks department are creating a show garden at
this year’s RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. The design is a celebration of
Bournemouth’s Victorian heritage, in particular the literary works of Robert Louis
Stevenson and Mary Shelley, as well as elements inspired by some of the paintings
and stained-glass windows in St. Peter’s Church.
The design caught the eye of the BBC, and they will be coming to Bournemouth to
film various pieces for inclusion in their broadcast from Hampton Court in July. One
of the locations will be St. Peter’s Church.
