World Book Day – World Class Day!
Well what a brilliant day we had in
Parklands to celebrate this fantastic day.
There are lots of pictures on the school
website (Children > World Book Day
2017) and on the school #twitter page. I
can’t tell how outstanding firstly the
children looked in their costumes;
secondly how brilliant the chairs were
that the classes changed into books
(these are displayed now in the entrance
hall) and finally how impressed I was
with the quality of the poems that each
year group read out. Having so many
special parents, carers, aunts, uncles and
grandparents made the day even more
special.
