Peter Lojac
National Sales Manager, CEO
Peter Lojac founded Charlotte Safety in 2004 in Charlotte, NC with a goal of supplying clean room facilities with high quality, domesticallymade cleanroom supplies and related products. In alliance with the leading cleanroom products manufacturers, Charlotte Safety grew at a
tremendous rate every year, with a constant evolution towards working with non-sterile and sterile compounding pharmacies. In 2014,
Charlotte Safety was renamed Cleanroom Connection Inc. and strictly focuses on being a supplier and resource to the nation’s leading
compounding pharmacies. Close relationships with the nation’s leading compounding pharmacists, trainers, pharmaceutical organizations
and product manufacturers continue to make Cleanroom Connection the nation’s leading supplier for pharmacy clean rooms.
Kenneth Latta
R.Ph., BS Pharm., FACA, FIACP, Gates Healthcare, ProPharma Cleanroom Design
Ken Latta is a Senior Associate for Gates Healthcare Associates. A pharmacist for more than 30 years, Mr. Latta is a nationally recognized
expert in compounding pharmacy management and development, clean room design and building, pain management, and pain medication
inventory controls. He has written and taught extensively on this topic. Mr. Latta was a staff pharmacist at Duke University Medical Center
from 1978 through 1989. He then became the lead pharmacist at the Acute Pain Service at the medical center, a position he would hold
until 2000. In 2000, he became manager of the Duke Compounding Facility, where Mr. Latta’s many accomplishments included designing,
overseeing construction, and launching operations for a standard-setting compounding facility. His expertise includes process design and
validation which promotes safety and ensures appropriate outcomes. Mr. Latta has assisted in developing, researching and writing several
ACPE-accredited programs in non-sterile compounding, sterile compounding, pain management and hormonal therapy for compounders.
He offers advice and solutions to Cleanroom Connection clients on a daily basis and has become an integral team member of Cleanroom
Connection Inc.
Tom Mahone
Regional Sales Manager
Tom Mahone has an extensive background in the distribution of products to the healthcare and scientific communities. He has managed
sales, marketing and customer service groups for companies such as Cardinal Health, McKesson and ThermoFisher Scientific. He knows how
to work with our suppliers to get what you need, when you need it. Mr. Mahone was regional VP at Curtin Matheson Scientific from 1990
through 1998 and Sales Director at Neutec Group from 2005 through 2013. As current Regional Sales Manager for Cleanroom Connection,
Tom offers 25 years of customer service experience and has great relationships with key sources of cleanroom products.

Kenneth Spiedel
R.Ph., BS Pharm, PharmD, FACA, FIACP, Senior Associate At Gates Healthcare
Dr. Ken Speidel, Senior Associate at Gates Healthcare Associates, has more than 25 years of experience across all facets of pharmacy
practice. He has received numerous industry awards and recognition.Dr. Speidel is known throughout the pharmaceutical sector in North
America, and is distinguished as a consultant in the development of national standards for pharmacy compounding practices. He provides
consulting services for companies and provider organizations in the U.S. and abroad. A frequent presenter and speaker at clinical and
industry educational programs from coast to coast, Dr. Speidel is a prolific author of articles and papers for leading pharmaceutical industry
publications. He assisted in developing, writing, and researching several nationally recognized continuing educational programs for the
University of Florida. Dr. Speidel served two terms as president of a large hospice program and guided and advised the organization through
a period of growth and organizational restructuring. Dr. Speidel is a former multi-term president of the National Home Infusion Association.
Dr. Speidel received his bachelor of science and doctor of pharmacy degrees from Ohio Northern University. Ken Spiedel offers advice,
guidance and solutions to Cleanroom Connection clients.
Adam Silverman
Director Of Sales, Decon Laboratories
Adam Silverman is the Director of Sales for Decon Laboratories, who for more than 35 years has been the leader in manufacturing high
performance disinfectants, cleaning agents and related cleanroom-grade chemicals for USP 797 compliance. Adam loves working with all of
Cleanroom Connections customers to ensure they are using the right cleaning products as well as using the proper disinfectant and cleaning
rotation schedule. All new clients of Cleanroom Connection usually speak with Adam to make sure they are using the proper chemicals and
if not, he offers free samples and expert level advice on using all Decon Labs products.
Kirsten Spallino
Sales and Customer Service Manager, Hardy Diagnostics
Cleanroom Connection is the leading authorized distributor of Hardy Diagnostics media fill test kits, contact plates, slides and vial media to
the domestic sterile compounding industry. When new clients begin working with Cleanroom Connection they often have technical
questions about environmental testing, media fill testing and other testing procedures. Kirsten Spallino works directly with Cleanroom
Connection customers to help them choose the proper sterility testing products as well as recommend equivalent products Hardy
Diagnostics manufactures to cross other brands like EMD Millipore or QI Medical. Kirsten provides expert level guidance on all Hardy
products at no charge to customers of Cleanroom Connection on a daily basis and has become an important part of the Cleanroom
Connection team.
