KB – who do I give the state ump money to? CT – to MT, she’ll pass it
on.
MF – Talking of state JG is not going to umpire, who can we get to do
it? [Discussion]
CT – if JR does it instead, do we pay him? TS – Maybe pay his fees?
MF – called JG and he will do U10s Saturday and U13s all weekend.

ND – have sorted through all the teeball kit bags and am unable to
identify 3 of the bags. 1 is missing. Do I message the 4 coaches and ask
who hasn’t brought in their bag? {Discussion}
MG – need to label the bags / paint it on.
ND – Also need to reassign bags for winter softball, go through them all
as some are in poor condition. Will need to get all game shirts back and
re issue for winter.
Mel G – I would like to look at upgrading the bags for the long term.
Allstar for example, better wheels and handles. ND – have asked that in
the past, will cost a lot. CT – would be a good idea Mel G – maybe 2 a
season?
TS – Asking on behalf of Jason (JN) can we have 6 hats to borrow for
state? CT – no, they can buy them, if they need them
TS – and 4 spray bottles CT – yes, ND will get them. [TS also given IGA
gift card to buy water and ice]
SD – can I get more ink for my home printer as I print a lot of club stuff
at home? ALL AGREE.

 MF – will go to Grant meeting – ND will go with him.
 Mel G – had a sausage sizzle at Bunnings for the Charter kids. Went well

 Mel G – inflatables – TS – water slide and bouncy castle.
Ice cream van sorted, coffee van still looking, slip and slide teeball –
builders plastic and soaker hoses. Sausage sizzle – ticket for free food.
KB – raffle books? Would need to purchase. Mel G – can print them
out.

MF – went to state meeting, not much, they’re concerned about the
heat. Will not cancel – take care of the kids. Compulsory to stay for
presentations.
TS – Plate umps are doing votes for sportsmanship George Georgis
Award.
MA – why did the state teams get knocked back for a scratch match? CT
– not viable for club, costs money, exec not available. SD – why didn’t
those interested in scratch match show up to our carnival?
TS – From JN again – can someone from the Exec come down to talk to
the state kids tomorrow? CT – not really, only 2 people could (Pres. and
Vice pres.) and PR and I are not available.
Mel G – can he come to the meeting and ask his own questions? CT –
not only that, can he give us more notice, not 1 day before
MG – re the DDMSA delegate – open it as a roster system with
committee and coaches. SD – great idea, CT brought it up before, we
have done it in the past but it didn’t work for long.
CT – DDMSA have fines for us not showing up.
MG – when messages are sent out, be mindful of the non tech savvy
members – a newsletter?
CT – everyone [committee] needs to be proactive and find out what
needs to be done. KB – I have been trying to learn.
Mel G – we are worried about roles that will need to be filled. Duties
that need to be performed. With new committee coming in we need to
put processes in place.
Mel G – can we add something in rego to have a preferred method of
communication CT – text, we have a sms service. CT to MG – do you
have any policies or procedures that will help that? MG- will look.
Mel G – a member has requested fixtures for the 2012/2013 and
2013/2014 seasons to use in a court case, have mentioned it to SD.
SD – will look again but haven’t had any luck.
KB – when will MP and LL windup be? Will need to be organised before
next meeting. Mel G – was going to be a smaller version of teeball
windup.
KB – the meeting we (ND & KB) went to – must have HCC and email
address for Kidsport.
KB – need to get the ball rolling for summer season now. CT – please
send out info to relevant people.
Mel G = is there a reason why we don’t have pre-register for next
season? CT – have taken some details.
SD – maintenance period – March 27th to April 10th
SD – AGM 17th May 7pm
CT – make sure the nomination form is updated to included disclaimer.
SD – will check with MG. CT – any changes with the constitution.
SD – reports due in next meeting!
