Walk quietly down the trail without
talking. Stand still and try to blend into
nature so that birds and animals will not
run away from you. Watch for signs of
wildlife such as nests, tracks, feathers,
scat etc.
Look, listen and be patient!
Observe carefully, to help identify what
you see. Try to note the shape, colour,
size and habitat. Describe any
distinguishing marks, make a sketch
and compare it to something that you
know.
