CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS HIGHER THAN THAT OF OUR COMPETITION: From the materials used to the method of
construction, GE pre-lit artificial trees are constructed from standards higher than that of our competition.
• Most tree sizes assemble in 3 sections.
• Each branch row and tree top is lit independently of each other.
• Our patented light sets are of a special configuration and do not resemble a
conventional light string. The light sets are designed by light count to be tree and row
specific.
This process enables us to evenly distribute and maximize the lights on each row of branches.
Take the squint test and see that there are no hot or cold spots on our trees. The factory has been trained in the proper
technique of tree lighting. Great care is given to hiding unsightly cord set wires and the last bulb in each branch panel is
fastened using a branch clip to minimize the chance of the string set unwinding from the branch tips.
Only the design of our light set, and the way it is applied to each specific row and tree top, can compare to a tree that
has been lit by a professional decorator.
Even the professional decorator will be challenged to match the sophistication of lighting on our trees.

STRINGENT MANUFACTURING AND TESTING PROCESSES
The GE lights used to light the GE line of pre-lit trees undergo the same stringent manufacturing
and testing procedures as our standard holiday lighting.
The standards used by GE are above the grade of the industry and feature larger lamp sockets
and holders for structural integrity, as well as pinned plug ends to eliminate any separation of the
plug housing and contacts.
Special pleated lamps snap into the lamp holders to minimize any movement of the bulb in the
lamp socket. Movement in the lamp socket can lead to a broken light circuit and cause the light
not to operate.
In addition, to the tests performed during the manufacturing process, light sets are also tested by
an outside testing service (ITS) prior to being installed onto our trees. ITS again inspects the
combination of tree and lights prior to each
shipment of our product. ITS reports directly to GE and continually audits our suppliers, raw
materials and production.
In 2002, our safe and dependable ConstantON® lighting technology was added to the GE pre-lit
tree line. This technology assures that the lights will remain lit, even if a bulb burns out or
becomes loose.
In addition, ConstantON® lights incorporate current limiting lamps that assure the lights on the
tree will not overheat, even if there is neglect in replacing burned out lamps. For each 100 lights,
there are 2 replaceable fused current limiting lamps that are intended to expire if they experience
a surge of current. The addition of ConstantON® technology has enhanced the quality and value
of the GE pre-lit trees.

TREE POLES
Tree poles are made from 1-1/8” heavy gauge steel. A heavier gauge is used for 9’ - 12’ trees .
The trees pole are designed with a special locking key. When assembling two sections of the tree,
align the arrows from both sections, the tree poles will easily slide together and lock into place.
The new key design also makes taking the tree apart quick and easy.
The tree top plug is manufactured from virgin material for stability and flexibility. Tree poles are
wrapped with brown PVC to simulate a natural-looking brown tree trunk.
FOOT PEDAL
An ON/OFF foot pedal is incorporated into the extension cord for consumer convenience. (Ex. A)
FUSES
A special time-delayed fuse is used in the plug of our extension cord. This fuse protects the light
sets against failing in the event of a power surge. (Ex. B)
BRANCH PANELS
Pre assembled branch panels are hinged onto the tree pole. For the purposes of easy storage,
branch panels fold up. Hinged branch panels are numbered for easy identification. (Ex. C)
TREE STAND
A heavy duty metal tree stand provides stability to the tree. (Ex. D)

Just Cut® Trees
Most Realistic Pre-lit Tree in the Industry
The Just Cut® tree series is the most realistic looking pre-lit artificial trees in the industry.
Unlike conventional artificial trees which are made from cut PVC, Just Cut® trees are
manufactured from molded polyethylene and combined with PVC tips. This process allows us to
create lifelike tree branches. The tree branches are true representations of popular live Christmas
trees, such as the Scotch Pine, Balsam Pine, Frasier Fir and Douglas Fir.
Just Cut® trees are available with the GE energy smart® Energy Saving LED Lights, Colorite™
LEDs and Easy Shape Technology®. The quality and beauty of the Just Cut® trees will last for
many years.
