From the Principal Dear Parents and Caregivers NATURE PLAY AT EMPS Thank you to our National Quality Standards Board for organising the installation of another ‘nature play’ area for our Year 3-6 students. The ‘tyre stack’ has already been well used as a play area and also as a ‘quiet’ space to sit and chat in the shade. NEW STUDENTS We welcome Connor from A19 and Dylan from A12. VERY OWN UPCOMING STAR CHAPLAINCY FUNDING East Maddington has once again been successful in an application for another two years of funding. The school will also add some funding so that Mr Butcher will be able to work with us for three days each week next year! Congratulations to Brandon from Area 7 for winning the part of a Munchkin in the Wizard of Oz show. Brandon will be performing on the 10th - 13th January. See information below for tickets. GOSNELLS ART COMPETITION A big thank you to our wonderful Arts Curriculum Leader, Miss Tree for encouraging our staff and students to enter the Road Safety Competition again this year! We will be taking deposits on orders again this year. THE BIG WALK AT EMPS BREAKFAST CLUB The Breakfast Club happens on Tuesday and Thursday before school starts and helps students with breakfast. If you are interested in volunteering for it, please see the board between the Canteen and Uniform Shop. Help support your school and our students. The P&C would like to thank everyone for their continued support. Our school is donating to the Appleton Murray Family for little Beau who is their cousin. Beau had cancer and lost his left leg. Our school Big Walk will happen this Friday the 18th November at lunchtime. It will cost a gold coin donation to help raise money. The actual Big Walk was held on the 13th of November at Burswood Park. OUR LOST PROPERTY IS FULL Please check the lost property bins in the undercover area for any lost items. We have accumulated many swimming items with the end of our swimming lessons.
