True Cycle Enhancements
Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company, Trunkline Gas Company and Sea Robin Pipeline Company have implemented
enhancements to the Messenger System which will increase the pipelines’ ability to process nominations by intraday cycle,
and will also provide Messenger users with enhanced nomination and confirmation capabilities.
Summary of Features




Enhanced ReNom capability for service requesters, to allow service requesters to automatically re-nom for a
future cycle, or for all future cycles of the day.
Provide operators with the capability to Pre-Confirm a future cycle.
Allow operators to set Confirmation Limits by contract for a Gas Day.
Enhancements to screens and reports to support nominated, confirmed and scheduled quantities by cycle within
the Gas Day.

Nomination Matrix Screen – Summary of Enhancements

ReNom



The value in the ReNom field indicates that the Nom Qty will be renominated (for the specified intraday cycle) if the Nom Qty is not equal to the Conf Qty.
On a previously saved nomination, shipper has the option to enter a future cycle, or “ALL” (to re-nominate in all future cycles) for a single day range.
The ReNom field will automatically populate with the correct nomination cycle whenever a change to the Nom Qty is submitted.

Conf Cycle

The Conf Cycle field displays the cycle for which the Conf Qty was last revised. [This is a view-only field, which will automatically populate.]

Conf Qty

The Rec and Del Conf Qty are the quantities available for the point operator to confirm in the current confirmation cycle.

Stat “LTD”
(LIMITED)

Confirmation Status “LTD” (new) allows an operator to set an upper limit on the quantity that will be confirmed.
If a quantity greater than the Limit is nominated in a future cycle, the Limit will reduce the nominated quantity at the
beginning of the corresponding Confirmation Cycle.

If a quantity less than the Limit is renominated, the pipeline will schedule the lower quantity in the following cycle.
